My name is Muhammad Aaron Hailmirza Bin Hisham. I am currently waiting for polytechnic to start. I just completed my O-level examination where I scored distinction grade (A1/A2) for both Malay Language and Higher Malay Language. As someone who just graduated and completed O-level examination, I believe that I am able to guide students who are struggling in Malay language to do well and excel in the subject. I also strongly believe that the knowledge and lesson that I learnt during my school days will bring great help to the students in terms of their academic result. As someone who just completed the O-level, I am also able to share effective exam strategies that helped me achieve distinction result in Malay/Higher Malay language during my O-level. I strongly believe my fresh academic experience allows me to relate well to students and explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly way. In addition, I will also share helpful tips for students to improve in their Karangan, kefahaman and also oral examination. My teaching approach will be focusing on the weak point of the student and setting realistic goal for the student to achieve. By doing so, I will be able to guide the student and provide with solution to improve on their weak areas. Furthermore, I will also give practices and also notes for them to refer and work on to further strengthen their language skills. Lastly, I am also available via phone for any questions regarding Malay Language and study tips. Last but not the least, I am very passionate to help many students out there that are struggling and require support for Malay Language. As I personally believe that every student can excel and improve with the right guidance and motivation. I do not have any past students track records. However, I do guide and teach some of my peers, classmates and also my juniors back in my primary school and also secondary school days. After teaching them, they get a better understanding of the concept and were able to answer the questions properly and improve in their Malay Language grade. I hope my knowledge and my experience as a student in the past will be able to help many students out there that are struggling with Malay Language. I do give my own materials for the student and the class. For example, I will give out my own set of notes to guide and help students to better understand the concept. Furthermore, the notes will help students to improve their language proficiency and writing technique. Not only that, I will also try my best to prepare extra practices (homework) such as practice papers and also comprehension text for the student to do after each tuition session so that he/she will not forget the knowledge learnt and concept being taught. In addition, I will also do provide with news article and also cerita pendek (short story) for the student to read which will help in his/her vocabulary, Malay Composition and also comprehension. Last but not the least, I am also available via phone to answer anything regarding Malay Language questions.

I am currently a Year 3 Banking & Finance student at Singapore Polytechnic with a strong passion for programming and technology. Since late 2022, I have self-taught Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and have applied these skills in my academic modules as well as real-world projects. During my internship at HSBC Singapore as a Finance Strategy and Execution Intern, I worked on optimising and automating workflows within the Finance department. This experience strengthened my problem-solving and analytical skills. I have been teaching for 6 months, primarily supporting beginner to intermediate students. I provide structured materials including notes and practice questions (unless a specific syllabus is required). My lessons are student-paced, focusing first on clear explanations, followed by guided practice to ensure strong understanding and independent application.

Among my best private students, 3 female students achieved A1-A2 for their English O level and 1 male student achieved B3 last year (2025). Last working at Writers At Work (till Jan 2026) for over a year, teaching both primary and secondary English, totally familiar and updated with MOE English syllabus and exam requirements.

i’ve been consistently participating in volunteer tutoring for the past few years. every week, ill head to the centre and tutor for 2 hours. i’ve tutored p6 english, p6 math and p5 science. for the past 1.5 years, i’ve been tutoring math for a girl from secondary 1 to currently secondary 3. she’s in g2 math and struggles quite a bit with algebra. i teach her patiently and start each lesson with a recap of previous lesson. she has improved a lot from fail to A2!
