I hold myself to high standards, and I carry that same commitment into every lesson I teach. When a child is under my guidance, their progress becomes personal to me. I take time to understand how each student learns, where they are struggling, and what will help them move forward with confidence. From there, I tailor every lesson and create customised worksheets, practice papers, and exam focused materials to strengthen their foundations and close learning gaps. Over time, I have seen students who started out failing begin to improve steadily, eventually achieving A’s and B’s. For me, it is not just about getting through a syllabus. It is about helping a child believe they can do it, and then building the skills and consistency to prove it.

I am from China and have been teaching Chinese at a professional Chinese tutoring school in Singapore for sixteen years, with fifteen years of one-on-one tutoring experience. My students come from numerous Singapore government schools, including: Nanyang Primary School, Catholic High School Affiliated Primary School, Raffles Girls' Primary School, Anglo-Chinese School, Nan Hua Primary School, Hai Sing Secondary School Affiliated Primary School, St. Joseph's Institution, Methodist Girls' Primary School, Ai Tong Primary School, Heng Li Primary School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School, Pei Hwa Presbyterian School, etc. In recent years, I have focused more on one-on-one teaching, and most of my graduating students have achieved top scores and entered Raffles Institution, Raffles Girls' School, ACSI, Nanyang Girls' School, etc. Students report that they love my Chinese lessons.
