3rd year undergraduate (NTU Mechanical Engineering) with Deans List for academic year of 2023/24 and currently maintaining First Class Honours (Cumulative GPA:4.62/5.00) A grade for every Mathematics module taken since I was in Polytechnic (Singapore Poly - Engineering math 1,2,3) (NTU - Math 1, Math 2, Engineering Math, Mathematical Methods in Engineering) Taught my group of friends (informal) Mathematics in Uni which brought them up from D/C grade to B+/A-/A/A+ grades. I want to start teaching Primary/Secondary level mathematics as I feel that the basis of higher level mathematics that I've been enjoying in University starts with the basic concepts taught when we were young and I want the future generation to have the intuition and confidence to tackle Math problems with enjoyment rather than fear. If my student can say they enjoyed my lessons and more importantly, enjoy mathematics at the end, I will feel very fulfilled. I will prepare my classes properly for my students by looking through the syllabus and tackling the pri/sec school practice problems first and think of the best way to teach the concepts of each question/topic according to their learning speed.
