I am a University of London graduate and dedicated private tutor with over three years of teaching experience. I have taught students from N2/K1–K2 through Primary 1–6, covering English, Mathematics and Science, and have also continued supporting students as they progress into secondary school. I have worked with students of different abilities and learning needs, and several of my students have remained with me for multiple years, including students whom I have supported since Primary 5 or 6 and who continue tuition with me in secondary school. I place particular emphasis on identifying key concepts and keywords, structuring answers clearly, and using visual aids and real-life examples to make lessons easier to understand and remember. For English, I support students in areas such as reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing and overall language development. For younger learners, I also focus on building strong foundations in phonics, early literacy, numeracy and vocabulary through engaging and age-appropriate activities. Over the past three years, I have seen meaningful improvements in my students' academic performance and confidence. For example, one of my Primary 4 students improved from single-digit Mathematics scores to around 70 marks, while one of my Primary 5 students improved from failing to consistently achieving around 70–80 marks in examinations. I have also supported students who have progressed from primary school into secondary school while continuing tuition with me. Beyond improving grades, my goal is to help students become more confident, independent and resilient learners. I aim to build strong academic foundations while helping each student develop the confidence and problem-solving skills they need to progress successfully.

I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and have more than 10 years of experience in education, training and individualised student support. I am currently teaching Chinese to primary and secondary school students in Singapore, including both 1-to-1 and small-group lessons. Hi, I'm Anannya, a business student at ESSEC with over two years of tutoring experience. I teach maths and English, along with finance, economics, and Excel for students who need them, and I work with primary, secondary, and university students as well as beginners. I've learned that most students don't need a subject repeated louder, they need it explained differently until it genuinely clicks, and I keep my sessions relaxed so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
