Tutor City levies a 50% of total tuition fees for 4 weeks of lessons (usually 4 / 8 / 12 lessons) which we will collect from the client directly. Even if there is a lesson postponed, we will still charge the same amount of commission.
If the tuition is terminated before the 4 weeks is up, please refer to the Terms and Conditions in the Register as Tutor form on how the commission is charged.
We are very strict on service levels and teaching methods provided to students. If there is a complaint and client refuses to pay, Tutor City will give the tutor a chance to explain and defend himself/herself. If there is a strong case, we will bill the client and refer to the Small Claims Tribunal if the client still refuses to pay.
However, if the complaint is valid and received immediately after the 1st lesson, the client will not be billed for the 1st lesson.
