I am an educational therapist and English tutor with 16 years of experience. I specialise in literacy intervention for dyslexic, ADHD, and high-functioning autistic students. Prior to private tutoring, I taught at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore where I provided literacy remediation for up to 35 students. I also taught at-risk students at Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, which draws upon multi-sensory experiences to teach the child phonological knowledge. Additionally, I am very familiar with the MOE curriculum and have supported many of my students from kindergarten through primary school and PSLE.
