My name is Kieran. I am a full-time tutor. I specialize in teaching English, possessing experience with local and international students. I spent a year as a curriculum coordinator, developing the English program for Smart Lab Education Center (Vietnam). I am currently an adjunct consultant for the English program there. I am also a freelance editor, proofreader, subtitler, and transcriber for projects in English.

Currently teaching science to a P5 student. There has been an improvement from AL7 to AL4 over the course of one year. Depending on my students' progress, I am also able to provide supplementary materials to help them stretch their knowledge and foundation on concepts further. I am passionate about teaching and nurturing students such that they get comfortable, confident and develop an interest for the subjects that they are usually weaker in. I usually use a variety of methods depending on my students' learning needs, to help them better absorb information that is being taught to them. I believe that in order for a child to improve, they will need constant affirmation on the little achievements they make along the way and to further maintain their interest for the subject. Though I have no experience in teaching Math, I am confident in tutoring the subject as I have had an interest in the subject since I was a student. Hence I would like to help my students understand the concept behind the steps to solving a math problem instead of pure memorisation skills on how to attempt math questions. This will be helpful to my students as they will be better able to tackle questions that they have not seen before.

The student was failing for math papers but managed to improve to an A1 for his weighted test. H2 Mathematics Students: Both students showed remarkable progress and achieved enhanced results under my guidance over 1 year. Students were failing math but managed to pass and secure a B for prelims.
