I have 14 years of Primary School Science, Math, English tutoring experience. I possess content mastery in the MOE and International curriculums, am adept in lesson planning and execution which consists of error analysis (going through corrections), delivering and recapitulating topical concepts, passing down memory strategies, teaching answering techniques (all which I compiled in my own developed strategies captured on PowerPoints for Science and Math), on top of making lessons fun via suitable topical web animations and topical videos, and usage of other teaching tools like Plickers and Kahoot. For English Curriculum, I recommend to tackle it into Paper 1 Writing and Paper 2 components. Writing aspect can be broken down into good words and phrases compilation, as well as going through plausible storylines. It will be useful to develop a good story mountain comprising of introduction, problem, body and triggers, falling action and conclusion. Paper 2 components can be broken down into grammar, vocabulary, cloze passages, comprehension cloze, synthesis and transformation, and comprehension, each with their tricks. I am also always helping the Centre I am at update their curriculum content.

- Formally tutoring 3 P4 students and 2 P3 students for English, Math and Science - Sibling was solely tutored by me for the whole year in P6 for all 4 subjects. She improved drastically and achieved a score of 233 for PSLE. - Tutored SEC 3 sibling in Combined Chemistry and Biology for 2 months which improved her grade from F9 to C5 for WA2. - Tutored PRI 3 sibling in Science allowing him to score decent in his first ever Science tests, WA1 and WA2. - Tutored sibling in SEC 2 in Mathematics, improving grade from E8 to C5. - Tutored my sibling for Eng Math1 in Poly I always break down concepts and topics into the simplest form, only focusing on important details needed. I do not like to overwhelm students with too much information. This will improve foundational knowledge and enhance student's confidence and attitude toward the subject. From there, I guide students to progress slowly in the subject allowing them to achieve mastery, I tweak my teaching methods to cater to the strengths and weaknesses of my students.
