I have experience in tutoring primary students, and parents have reflected that their children have been doing better at the subjects I helped them with. I am also a recipient of the Edusave Bursary Award and the Bicultural Studies Programme Scholarship. I am an extremely responsible and capable individual with substantial experience in providing academic aid to primary school students. I co-founded two student-led non-profit projects, one providing free academic guidance for primary school students of lower income households, and the other curating bicultural programmes and activities for students from SAP primary schools. I had one month of relief teaching experience at SRJK Gunung Rapat after I completed my university studies at Australia. I had 8 months of part time night tutor (晚自习）experience to a small group of primary school students in Singapore. I accompanied them during evening revision and checked through their works in English, Chinese and Mathematics. I have vast experience in hands-on class in baking and cake decorating, cooking, both for adult learners and kid participants. I obtained ACTA - Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment, I am competent in creating lesson plans and curriculums.

As I started to consistently score A for Chem and Math in every consecutive school exam, I started to help out my peers with after-school for both chem and math peer-tutoring sessions. As their student mentor, I started refining the way I taught chem concepts to them. The math tutoring was part of the school initiative while the chem tutoring was my own initiative. I volunteered to teach my classmates and students from other classes after school for free. I printed worksheets for them to try during my secondary school days. Many of their grades improved after my lessons. I enjoyed teaching chemistry as I saw how my peers' grades improved after attending a couple of my tutoring sessions and I instantly knew that this was something I'd like to pursue. I have taught secondary students Chemistry and Math.

As for my teaching techniques, I try to adapt my teaching methods to their individual learning styles. My approach emphasises interactive and engaging lessons, ensuring students grasp key concepts. Started out teaching by volunteering to tutor low-income students 1 to 1. I have taught all levels of primary school in mathematics, reading (phonics) for lower primary students and secondary 1 mathematics. After 1 year, I see improvements in students grades and even their learning attitudes. For JC, I have a H2 math girl from MI and a H2 Chem student from JPJC I will be going to NTU or SMU in Aug 2025.

I had previously taught at an enrichment centre before, Kumon enrichment centre, and I had taught there for almost 2 years. For home tuition, my students are mostly from schools like Beacon Primary School, Qifa Primary School, Canberra Primary School, Boon Lay Primary school, and Admiralty Primary School etc, and I’ve tutored all subjects so far. One of my students whom I had tutored English for example, he used to score Merit grade in his English all the time but after getting tutored by me he had improved over time and had started scoring distinctions.
