I have accumulated valuable experience tutoring secondary students, working with both G2 and G3 learners. My teaching journey has involved supporting students with diverse academic abilities, including those who initially struggled with understanding key concepts or lacked confidence in science subjects. Through consistent and structured guidance, I have helped students gradually improve their grasp of topics, develop stronger answering techniques. have tutored secondary with varied abilities, including those initially scoring F9–E8 up to C grades. Through structured teaching, concept breakdown, and consistent practice, many improved by 1–3 grade bands, with some progressing to B and A grades. Students also became more confident in answering exam questions and showed clearer understanding and better problem-solving skills over time. When nearer to weighted assessment, I will be able to customise mock WA based on the topics tested (which varies from school to school)

For nearly two years, I have been volunteering weekly at the Singapore Boys Home, tutoring youths in English, Math, and Social Studies for their O and N-Levels. What started as a way to give back became a massive turning point for me. There is nothing quite like the feeling of watching a student click with a concept they used to struggle with, and then seeing that translate into stellar exam results. That experience taught me how to engage, command attention, and motivate students. This is why I want to bring that same high energy into a professional tuition environment.

-The Next Lap since 2025 till present -AspireHub Enrichment since start of 2026 -Nanyang Educational Consultancy since end of 2025 First started tutoring when I was in JC, teaching Secondary School Math to my mother’s friend’s children and being a volunteer tutor at Brahm Centre. Currently, I work as a part time tutor under AspireHub Enrichment, Nanyang Educational Consultancy and The Next Lap. I have 25 students under me, biggest class being Sec 1 Science (10pax)! 2 private students as mostly teaching in centre. 1 is a Sec 4 Pure Chem student who was consistently scoring F9 but achieved a C5 for his WA1 after 2 months of tuition. The other student is Primary 4 Math + Science from Gongshang Primary, was scoring 60+ for Math and Science but scored 80% and 77% for Math and Science respectively after a month of lessons!
