I am flexible on applying different teaching skills according to diverse needs of students. From my students' view, I am a guide who is patient with their learning process. I have experience working as a Chinese teacher and homeroom teacher in IB schools and international schools in China for the past 8 years. The 7-10-year-old students who were coming from Russia, Japan, Korea, India could speak basic interactive Chinese after learning from me for several months. I also run writing lessons for students with advanced Chinese level and they can write complete stories or articles after learning writing skills and structures from me. I currently study master of teaching Chinese as an International language in Nanyang Technological University. I have ability teaching authentic spoken and written Chinese language.

A graduate of BSc Mathematics with Economics (SIM-OU), I have spent over 2 decades in the financial markets managing trading systems and currently managing my personal retirement portfolio. I am now transitioning to full-time tutoring, bringing a high level of analytical precision to the academic space. Over the past 4 years, I have successfully coached my own son, now in secondary 3 to achieve an A1 in Mathematics. My background allows me to bridge the gap between theoretical math and real-world application, making the subject relatable and engaging for students. Exam Literacy & Marking Scheme Mastery: I focus heavily on presentation and working. I guide students on exactly what SEAB markers look for, ensuring they don't lose marks for missing steps, even if their final answer is correct.
