i have taught my two kids at home in the last 8 years , one of them with Dyslexia and ADHD since primary one till now Secondary 3 (in Maths and Science). I am familiar with the Primary school MOE curriculum and the methodologies used in solving Maths problem sums. I am a proactive tutor who will constantly fine- tune teaching methods and adopt different teaching strategies to help each individual child to learn. Having taught a child with learning difficulties, I am a more adaptable and flexible tutor who is sensitive to the child's learning needs. I have volunteered , providing free tutoring services at a student care organisation in the evening from 8-10pm for a period of time (6 months) but however due to the late night commitment and the long travelling distance back to home, I have stopped the volunteering.

I graduated from NUS with a degree in Psychology (Honours) in 2024. I have a strong passion for teaching and I aim to help students build up confidence and find fun in learning. I have tutored students ranging from 6 years old to as old as 21 years old. I was previously at a tuition centre (Hui Cai Education) where I taught English, Maths and Science for primary and secondary level. I have prepared students for AEIS secondary level (P6 Maths, Sec 1 Math & English) and AEIS for primary level (P2, P3, P4 maths) Currently I am doing 1 to 1 tutoring for AEIS (English/Maths), P2 Maths, Secondary 1 G3 Math, Secondary 2 G3 Math & Science, Secondary 3 G3/G2 Combined Sciences (Chem/Phy/Bio) as well as Grade 9 English for a student from an international school. All materials will be provided by me. 2) Before exam period, I will provide practice papers and mock tests to help prepare the student. 3) I strictly adhere to the student’s school curriculum & MOE syllabus. 4) Feedback to parents pertaining to the students' progress and improvements will be given after every class or monthly depending on parents' preference. 5) I would also be able to assist the student outside of tuition time through WhatsApp/Telegram/Wechat should the student require it. 6) I aspire to create an interactive and positive environment for the student to learn and develop interest in the subject.

Students under my charge often displays an improvement of minimal 2 grades in Weighted Assessment and/or major papers (O/N level). I provide past year papers as practice or revisions too.
