Hello! I’m a recent graduate of Hwa Chong Institution (College) with excellent achievements in Chinese Language and Mathematics, where I scored A throughout every academic year, and attained Top in Cohort for Higher Chinese Language in Sec 4 and Pri 6. I’m open to share my study methods and scoring tips to help juniors who are struggling. I have about 2 years of experience tutoring Math and Science for primary and lower secondary students. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding and guiding students through step-by-step problem solving so they can confidently handle different question types. I tailor lessons according to each student’s learning pace and use a combination of school materials, targeted practice questions, and exam-style problems to reinforce key concepts. For example, one of my Primary 6 students initially struggled with Math problem-solving questions and was scoring around 60%, but after focusing on systematic solving methods and consistent practice, the student improved to above 80% in subsequent assessments. I also emphasize exam strategies and answering techniques to help students approach tests with greater confidence and achieve better results.
