With a strong passion for Mathematics, Science, English, and Tamil, I have over 4 years of teaching experience, guiding students as well as mentoring my school juniors, siblings, and cousins. Through structured lessons, consistent practice, and personalised guidance, I have helped students achieve significant academic improvement — including supporting students who improved from failing grades to a confident pass within one month. One of my students also went on to achieve top student recognition in their subject. i have 2years of teaching experience in both group & 1 to 1 tuition. during this time i have taught emaths, amaths & poa to both primary & secondary school students. i am familiar w the moe syllabus and align my lessons closely to the curriculum requirements, along w the school assessment and examination formats. currently i am still teaching 3 of my g3 sec2 students, along w 1 pri 3 student. all in emaths + 1 taking poa in addition to his emaths. all of them started w failing grades (even one that had single digit) now theyre scoring B-B+ for their exams. my teaching style is being patient, supportive and adaptable to each student’s learning needs, including students with adhd and dyslexia. i focus on helping students truly understanding the concept rather than blind memorisation. often using visual explanations for topics such as geometry. this helps students build stronger foundation apply what they learn more effectively in exams. i spend the first 2weeks getting the know the students learning style, along w guiding them on topics that theyre weak in/topics covered for their upcoming WA. afterwards i wld send out a pdf lesson plan to the parents on which topics i would be tea (...)
