I am currently an undergraduate studying at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), BSc with Honours in Nursing. I enjoy meaningful interactions and am passionate about helping others. I don't have any prior tutoring experience. However, I am dedicated to helping students understand their learning material thoroughly. I approach each session with patience and encouragement to support them in their academic journey. I tend to assist my siblings with their English or Malay homework and assignments at home, as well as provide pointers before exams approach. Language is one of my favourite and strongest subjects, and I would love to share my interest, personal sharing, and knowledge for it to the best of my ability! My personal teaching style would be to include blended learning and brainstorming. I feel that providing consistent feedback is crucial in order to facilitate progress. I aim to create a positive and safe learning environment, through learning from mistakes, and encouraging students to clarify doubts along the way in order to build on prior knowledge.

I’m married to a lovely wife, and am a father to a baby girl. I’ve been teaching in my church Sunday school since 2018, working with kids age ranging from K2 to Primary 6. Between 2018 to 2021, I led games with primary school kids in a crisis center. I love math, and studied Chemical Engineering in Temasek Poly before furthering my studies at UniSIM with Bachelors in Finance. In my mornings, I work as a staff at Burning Hearts, a Christian prayer house.
