Hi There, I am a student which has just finished A-levels and is waiting for results. I believe that every student has their own distinct learning methods and I intend to tweak my teaching style to whichever best fits the student. However, I do believe that a teacher should aid in the student in re-explaining areas which they are uncertain of when taught in school and further reinforce their understanding.

Hi, I’m Renee! I am a personable JC graduate looking to become a student tutor, who enjoys birdwatching and drawing. Officially, I do not have any experience :( However, I have a younger sister who has just come out of PSLE, and I spent a considerable amount of time helping her with work, hence I am familiar with the primary school syllabus. i’ve been consistently participating in volunteer tutoring for the past few years. every week, ill head to the centre and tutor for 2 hours. i’ve tutored p6 english, p6 math and p5 science. for the past 1.5 years, i’ve been tutoring math for a girl from secondary 1 to currently secondary 3. she’s in g2 math and struggles quite a bit with algebra. i teach her patiently and start each lesson with a recap of previous lesson. she has improved a lot from fail to A2!

I have worked mainly in a tuition centre specialising in English, with a strong focus on writing. I help students build clear structure and frameworks so they feel confident approaching composition, comprehension, and overall language skills. One of my students from Tanjong Katong improved from AL6 to AL3 in primary school, and I am currently teaching her in Secondary 1 (STEAM). I also teach Primary 2 and 3 students who have shown clear improvement in their speaking and writing skills. I have experience working with students with ADHD (4 students) and one student with dyslexia, and I adapt my teaching to suit different attention spans and learning needs. For primary levels, I support students transitioning from P4 to P5 and P5 to P6, preparing them for PSLE with structured guidance and engaging content. At the secondary level, I specialise in Sec 1 and 2, helping students adjust smoothly to the O-Level syllabus. I'm a computer science graduate and have been teaching math and computing for the past 3 years. I teach mostly secondary school students, with a heavy focus on the O level syllabus, primarily for E math and A math.
