I believe I am well-suited to teach Mathematics because I combine strong academic foundations with relevant tutoring experience. I achieved an A* for PSLE Mathematics, distinctions for both E-Mathematics and A-Mathematics at O Levels, and a 7 for IB Higher Level Mathematics. I am applying to Law and Business in 2026. I taught a sec3 until sec4 from st margarets sec who had dyslexia she improved from e8 to b3 in o levels Beyond my own results, I have two years of experience tutoring children in Mathematics from Alexandra Primary School and Zhangde Primary School. Through this experience, I learned how to explain concepts clearly, adjust my teaching pace, and address common misconceptions at an early stage. I also understand that many students struggle not due to lack of effort, but because they rely on inefficient study methods. Having faced similar challenges myself, I focus on teaching students how to approach questions logically, recognise patterns, and revise effectively rather than blindly grinding papers. For students transitioning from upper primary to secondary school, I prioritise building strong fundamentals and confidence so they can cope with increasing difficulty and become more independent learners.
