I began home tuition in 2015, teaching upper primary and secondary students, and took a break for my studies and full-time work. I am now available again, working from home for an international organisation with a flexible schedule. I have taught English, Mathematics, and Science at upper primary level, and English, E.Maths, Biology, and Chemistry at secondary level. My teaching experience spans content from Primary 1–6 and Secondary 1–5, so I am well acquainted with the current curriculum and syllabus requirements. I was teaching a student from Boon Lay Garden Primary. She got into Express stream. I am currently teaching her Sec 1 Eng/Maths/Sci now. I am currently teaching another student (P4) Eng/Math/Sci. She’s from Clementi Primary. Two more students: One from Clementi Town Sec and the other from Boon Lay Sec. Both are in Sec 4 express. Most recently, I taught a Secondary 5 student (English, E.Maths, Combined Science) and a Primary 6 student (English, Maths, Science) who did very well. Her parents requested I continue for Secondary 1 this year, pending her first-term results. All my students have passed so far, with measurable improvement in understanding and confidence. I am awaiting the O-Level results of the Secondary 5 student taught last year and am confident about her performance. That said, meaningful progress depends on the *student’s effort, completion of assignments*, and parental follow-up.

I have 9 years of tutoring experience and still counting, teaching students across preschool, primary school, and secondary school levels. Over the years, I have worked with children of different learning abilities, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and interest in learning. I have gained hands-on teaching experience at Tampines Primary School for one month, as well as six months of teaching experience in a preschool setting. These experiences have strengthened my classroom management skills and my ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning styles. -Experience- I volunteered as a Mathematics coach for Primary 3 to 6 students at the Taman Jurong Zone "A" Math Coaching Programme from late 2019 to 2022. The programme was initially conducted face-to-face, but it transitioned to online sessions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I usually teach 2-4 students at a time and guide them through the thinking processes to allow them to derive the final answers. -Teaching methods- I value providing hints and guiding them through the thinking process. I like to draw diagrams or models to help students visualise the problem. When explaining concepts, I would first assess their existing understanding and clarify misconceptions before demonstrating step by step on how to solve the question. If the student is still unsure, I would patiently reexplain or think of other methods that suits the student's needs.
