Full-time Teacher & Administration Executive Apr 2019 to Nov 2025 I am working in dual teaching and administrative roles in a prestigious Wang Learning Centre in Singapore. I have been teaching Chinese at Wang Learning Centre for 6 years, covering courses from N2, K1, K2, P1 to P6, as well as secondary school programs. Chinese is my mother tongue. I studied Chinese language subjects at university in China and I am well-versed in Chinese idioms, classical Chinese, writing, and other aspects. I focus on comprehensive Chinese tutoring for students of all grade levels, including areas such as Pinyin, language application, grammar, vocabulary reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing. I am also familiar with P6 PSLE specific exam preparation, providing one-on-one PSLE oral coaching and essay corrections, as well as guidance on oral and writing techniques for P6 exam preparation. As a Chinese teacher, I am cheerful, approachable, patient, and able to build a good rapport with students, communicating effectively with them. I understand students' levels, identify weaknesses, and address them one by one. For students of different levels, I tailor learning methods to help them overcome difficulties in learning Chinese, spark their interest in the subject, and improve their Chinese proficiency and exam results. I also provide timely feedback and communicate with parents regarding students' progress. I want my students to learn Chinese in a fun & engaging way. I believe in being patient and understanding every child's needs first. Help them grow confidence in the language as I set the building blocks for them. Teach in both local and international syllabuses, that always ensures that classes are well spent with a guarantee of improvement. I am also fluent in both Chinese and English, enabling me to effectively teach and communicate in both languages. I was Involved in organisation of classes, providing learning materials and guidance for students during online study sessions for students between the age of 8-14 studying at international schools across China and USA. I taught mathematics across different levels equivalent to primary and secondary school maths. I also prepared some of my students for Australian and Singapore math olympiad competitions, has vast experience in managing children of varying abilities in math. 2.
