Majority of my students get A or A* for A-level Edexcel and IGCSE Chemistry and Biology, and Grade 6 or 7 for IB Diploma Chemistry and Biology. Some students managed to improve from Grade 3 in Year 11 to Grade 7 in final IB exam in Year 12 for both IB Diploma HL Chemistry and HL Biology. In addition, I am also experienced in teaching O-level, IP and A-level (JC1 & JC2) for Chemistry, Biology and Science. Some of my students are from Nanyang Girls; High School, Raffles Institution, Raffles Girls; School, Cedar Girls; Secondary School, Victoria School, Hwa Chong Institution, St. Josephs Institution and St. Andrew’s JC. Majority of them get A for their exams.

I taught H1/H2 Econs in a JC for 5 years (2014-2018) and was Level Coordinator. My students consistently performed above cohort average. Private tutees achieved As and Bs. Previously did a secondment in MOE HQ doing policy work, and now in the private sector. My students consistently performed above average, and my private tutees have improved from S/U to attaining A/Bs at the A-level examinations. Many of my students have recommended me to their friends over the years. My expertise is in helping students understand what the question is really testing so that they know the appropriate concepts to use, and in helping students understand the logical links between concepts so that they do not have to memorise blindly (because we all know how torturous that can be!). I can quickly identify my students' main areas of improvement so that we can work on these together.
