Helped a chinese girl from Christ Church SS for her N’s and O’s where she achieved a B3 and B4 respectively. She started off from a single digit and little passion for POA and within 5-6months of patience guidance she did pretty well and is not afraid of POA anymore. 2. Helped a malay boy from Woodlands SS where he manage to attain an A2 for O’s after 1 year of coaching from a C’s. A very hardworking boy who always did his own revision on top of the revision practice paper during class. 3. Coach a girl from Hua Yi SS and she manage to push from Cs to a A2 for her GCE N level in oct. She has a weak foundation in POA however despite the tight schedule I still did a quick recap for a few lessons to boost her foundation so that concept is clear when attempting questions and currently back to teaching her for her O’s this year. other students who are in Secondary 3, 4, 5 from GreenRidge Sec, Riverside Sec, Huayi, Regent Sec, Clementi Town

First and foremost, I love Physics and I love teaching Physics concepts to those interested. Given my passion for the subject, I have done Physics-related courses all through my higher education and did exceedingly well academically. I graduated with a B.Engg degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUS with First Class Honours, and went on to complete a Master's from the same discipline while working full-time. Lastly, I have five-years' worth of technical work experience (4.5 years as a Product Design Engineer in the upstream oil market, and currently serving as a Data Scientist in the Building Energy Optimization market) where I have been applying advanced Physics and Mathematics concepts on a daily basis. The rich wisdom I've gained over the years would allow me to teach the student using practical insights that would be more engaging than the traditional bookish approach. Having one P6 students currently,one Sec2 and one Sec3 students taking O Level in2021. All students have improved at least by one grades after taught by me.Two adult students,one of them have took the HSK exam after three months of lessons and scored a 90/100 for HSK exam.1 Jc h2 student learning Chinese literature under me and improved from C to B. One student studying in Canadian international school, two students studying in American international school,three french students. All of them have improved at least one grade after taught by me. I have 2 years experience teaching a few primary school kids, managed to help them attain distinctions from a pass. Also, during my secondary and JC school years, have been teaching my peers on Science and Mathematics, managed to help several of them achieve distinctions during O/A Levels. Additionally, I have some experience with special needs students as my brother is autistic (extreme end of the spectrum), thus I believe that I will be able to teach students with learning difficulties well. My teaching style is inquiry-based, which means that I will pose questions to make your child to think deeper and come to his own understanding of the topics. This is to ensure that your child is ready to tackle any uncommon/unusual questions that may come out for the exams and to deepen his/her understanding as well.

4 years tutoring experience Sec 1-4 math, E and A math Schools include kent ridge, regent, acs barker, yuan ching, SOTA, boon lay, anglican, nan hua. Latest batch scored A's for both E and A math during O levels. On average, students were failing/barely passing, but pulling high B's/A's in general I believe every student has the potential to learn - just that each respond differently to different teaching methods. Hence, part of my tutoring philosophy is to find the approach that best fits every student.

I am a British Council certified IELTS trainer and have taken up the IELTS exam myself twice and have scored and overall band 8 both the times with 9 in listening, 8.5 in reading, 7 in writing and 8 in speaking. I have also tutored a good number of students to face the IELTS. I have my own strategies to tackle each type of question in IELTS and I provide one-on-one learner-centric tuition based on an initial diagnostic test. I have good record of proven improvement of my students' scores. Besides, IELTS training, I also provide assistance on Grammar for IELTS like voice, parts of speech, sentence structure and detailed analysis and feedback based on assessment criteria.
