6 years of tutoring experience ranging from secondary school to JC. Taught mostly JC chemistry and biology and more than half of the parents have recommended me to other parents. Multiple students that I have taught had achieved A's in their A level results. a few of the students were of failing grades when I first taught them and all have managed to pass and many of them achieved B in the A level. Last year's batch of students: HCI (A) RI (A) VJC (A) ASRJC (B) Currently 3 jc 1 and 3 JC 2 JC 2: RI (B), JPJC (C), SAJC (C) JC 1: SAJC (C), EJC (C), TJC (no exam yet) I believe in explaining the abstract concepts in a way students can visualize to improve their understanding so that they can remember and apply the concepts rather than memorizing. I only encourage memorizing key phrases/words for polishing up their answer quality so as to hit the keywords in their teachers marking scheme.

I have taught a total of about 20 students over 6 years at all levels. My teaching style has helped my students to excel in their studies and prepare them for higher education. At the JC level, I have helped students to pass their promos in order to progress to JC2. At the secondary level, I have helped students to excel in their studies although their lower secondary foundations were weak. Some went to Polytechnic and some went to JC eventually. I also taught international students and helped them achieve the top of the class. I am confident that I am able to unleash potential in my students at a sustainable pace and help them build or rebuild a strong foundation to prepare them for higher education.
