I am currently working as an engineer, and I wish to have some part time tuition job for extra income. I enjoy sharing knowledge with others, and I am always patient in teaching. For me, gaining the interest to learn is far more important than learning itself. I am always kind and easy going, and is always flexible. I had 1 year of teaching experience in a tuition center, teaching Science, Mathematics, Chinese, and History for primary 5 and primary 6 students. My style of teaching is always let students try, under my guidance, and i believe this will help them to to boost thier thinking skills. This helps them to think through the question if they face similar question in the future. I am always patient with students, because i know that not every students are perfect, but every students can at their very best. Sometime, i will give some minor awards to students if they achieve something in academic, this is to boost their interest in studying. I always allow students to ask me question via whatapps or other pathway, even not during the time of tuition. I will always try my best to answer them when I am free. I enjoy teaching, hence, I hope my students will enjoy learning as well.

I am a final year undergraduate student from the National University of Singapore pursuing a double degree programme in Engineering and Economics. I am interested in being a part-time or full-time tutor before embarking on my master's degree at Columbia University in September. As a recipient of awards and scholarships such as the Prime Minister's Book Prize and the NUS Undergraduate (Merit) Scholarship, I am academically-driven and have consistently performed well in school and university. I have also had extensive tutoring experience from regular volunteering at Casa Clementi and with the National Youth Council to coach primary and lower secondary school students in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and Tamil. Many students that I have coached have witnessed an improvement of at least 1 letter grade (e.g.: B to A). On the professional front, I have undertaken several internships and demonstrated my ability to work well independently and in group settings.

I am currently an undergraduate studying in Nanyang Technological University after graduating from Dunman High School in 2017. After taking the GCE A' Levels, I worked for several months in a tuition centre until university began. In the tuition centre, the students' study plan were personalized and were designed based on their progress. Besides actually teaching the students, I was also involved in the planning of the students' studies. I mainly taught secondary school students math, physics, biology, and chemistry but am most proficient in math.

I have 7 years of teaching experience. Teaching mainly Secondary POA student. Most of them got A or B for the final national examination. Grade improvement for them Some recent POA achievements includes helping a Sec 4NA student to achieve an A for POA prelim and N Level in 2020. Also, helped two Sec 3NA students to achieved an A within 1.5 months and 4 months for CA2 and SA2 respectively in 2019. The grade improvement is from fail to A grade. As for python programming, I am familiar with Python as I learnt it while pursuing Bachelor. I also completed my Master Degree recently and have used Python to program for Identity recognition application using Machine Learning.
