I am a graduate from Raffles Institution who’s currently awaiting for A level results and was previously from Raffles Girls School (IP Programme). I’m a patient and kind tutor who will go through problems with the student step by step. I tend to first identify the students’ key areas of weaknesses, then focus on working on those areas. My teaching style is to go through questions from assessment books or exam papers, and go through past mistakes that the student has made in their school papers or other materials to ensure the student has understood their errors. I will focus on correcting students’ misconceptions and building a strong foundation before moving on to more challenging questions. I will also give the student regular practice and go through any errors via providing homework after every class. I’ve had past volunteer tutoring experience in Ang Mo Kio Primary School and Admiralty Primary School for Primary Math, and I am also currently working as a tutor for Primary and Secondary Math, as well as Primary Science at a tuition centre.
