I am Adam Chen, a 40-year-old Singaporean who previously worked for nine years as a PR practitioner/writer at NUS, NTU and various government agencies, where I wrote speeches for ministers. I last held the role of senior communications manager and was also an MOE relief teacher at Shuqun Primary and Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary, among others. I hold a Bachelor of Communication with a double major in public relations and journalism from the University of Newcastle, Australia, graduating with six distinctions and a GPA of 4.7. I have three years of tutoring experience teaching both local and international students of all learning abilities. I specialise in teaching English and Math from primary to secondary, especially PSLE Math/problem sums and creative writing. I am dedicated, patient and able to explain concepts in simple terms that students can understand.
