I scored A1 for both Emaths and Amaths. I used to teach as a relief teacher at 5-star tuition center. There i taught english, maths, and science to primary school students. I have been teaching a primary 6 girl science 1to1 and she has been inproving very well. She has increased her marks from 60 to 80 after I have started teaching her. I used to teach a primary 5 boy maths and he went from failing maths to getting good marks. I usually give hw questions relating to what the child is weak in and give different school papers to try during exam season. I try to make them answer the questions by giving them prompts instead of telling the answer directly. I had been tutoring a p6 student science last year who improved from getting an AL6 at prelims to a AL4 at PSLE. I have been tutoring this boy since last year. He is currently in P6 and I teach him maths and science. Last year he improved from failing to getting 70s for his final exams. My style of teaching is giving worksheets for different topics going through each question with detail and asking students to repeat or pretend to teach me to check their understanding. I give last year papers as homework to test understanding and send out a compilation of different questions as an everyday practice.
