I have relevant experience in tutoring students from diverse backgrounds. I volunteered as an online English tutor for overseas refugees, where I helped students improve their language proficiency and build confidence in speaking. Additionally, I volunteered to teach lower-income children basic reading, focusing on strengthening their literacy foundations through patient guidance. I have also regularly assisted my younger sister when she encountered difficulties with schoolwork, which trained me to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning needs and communicate clearly with others.

I am currently an Undergraduate student at SUSS. I have over a year of experience teaching in a preschool setting. I'm currently also teaching Enrichment classes to children in preschools and outside of preschools.  I am also certified and trained to teach Letterland Phonics. I mainly teach English to preschool and primary school children but I can teach Math to preschool children and lower primary children as well.

After PSLE, I was in the O levels track and took O Levels in 2023. I went on to study in the International Baccalaureate program and graduated in 2025. I have experienced many types of learning styles, both from my teachers and during self-study and I am able to adapt to the learning styles of others. Although I have no experience in teaching students, I do have younger relatives that I teach when they need help and through that, I learned how to teach kids. I am currently looking to teach mainly math as that is my strong suit, but once i familiarise myself with the new PSLE syllabus for science, I will start teaching science as well.

I’ve a Bachelor Degree in Economics and also a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from University of Auckland. Been teaching Economics at A Levels in NYJC since 2009-2017, was the Teacher in charge of Economics in Rosehill College in NZ 2018-2019, was Head of Economics from 2019-2021 in Saint Kentigern College in New Zealand before I returned to Singapore at the start of 2021 and been teaching Economics in ACS International from 2021-present. I do both IGCSE and IB levels. My track record had always been more than 50% of my classes scoring 6s and 7s for IB and also A and A* for IGCSE for the past four years.
