I am Cheyenne, a Year 2 Business Management student at Singapore Management University. I have consistently excelled in my studies, holding scholarships and multiple academic awards, with one of my proudest being Silver Medalist of my diploma (second best student of diploma). Besides my academic pursuits, I have extensive part-time work experience in retail industry, where I developed strong interpersonal skills and excelled in communicating effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. While I do not have formal tutoring experience, I have consistently supported my peers from secondary school through polytechnic, and nieces who are in primary school. I have always been academically driven, as evidenced by my position on the Director's List for three consecutive years at Temasek Polytechnic and being a Diploma Silver Medalist. My achievements extend to winning several awards, including scholarships and Top Student Subject Prizes in multiple modules in TP. I have a strong sense of responsibility and am committed to creating an engaging learning environment for my students. My diverse experience in retail has equipped me with strong communication and interpersonal skills, which are crucial in effectively conveying complex ideas in an understandable manner. Worked as a communication professional for a few years and have converted to full time tutoring, specialising in English. Also managed a class of undergraduates for a year in social sciences subject during post graduate year. Spent a year in Australia, and taught English to non-native speakers in classroom settings. Interested in languages and adept in writing, I'm well versed in factual reporting, story writing, and narratives.

Tutored computer science undergraduates in University and have taken on SP students from School of Business as well. My most recent student has achieved high grades in their Tech and Data Sci modules, allowing them to maintain their 4.0 GPA. (I can provide my student’s result slip) I strictly do not do the student’s project for them, but I have taught my students to read the rubrics and adapt their projects accordingly. As a BSc (Hons) Computer Science graduate (First class honours), I have grown accustomed to academic expectations of schools and developed a strong ability to break down rubrics into a set of requirements for coding projects. My students are able to extract the necessary information from rubrics and turn an otherwise vague assignment into a format that is familiar to our exam oriented brains.
