Hi I am Rachel and I have always had a deep rooted love for Math. As such, I tutor my younger siblings primary and secondary school math using my passion and expertise to extend my knowledge to them so that i can make math fun for them. When they are unsure of certain concepts, I like to break it down to them and give them an analogy for them to visualise and because of that, they usually can understand much easier. I would say that due to my love for math, teaching math is not a chore but something that I am happy and willing to do. Thus i am learning patient when teaching students as I understand that learning a new topic could be difficult. Most of all, I ensure that they do not dread learning math and instead try to make things more engaging and interesting for them.

I have over 3 years of experience facilitating engaging Zoom sessions for primary, secondary and high-school students across Indonesia and Australia, specializing in Cambridge checkpoint, IGCSE and A level preparations, leading to improved academic performance and increased student confidence. I have also tutored Singapore Mathematics to a group of 6th graders, and some of my students' grades managed to improve from B to A.
