I am a recent A-Level graduate from Anglo-Chinese Junior College, offering tuition for Primary and Lower Secondary students in Mathematics, Geography, English and Chinese. While I am new to formal private tutoring, I have experience supporting juniors and classmates through school-based peer tutoring programmes and exam preparation sessions. I regularly helped friends and juniors understand difficult concepts, especially in Mathematics, by explaining topics step by step and adjusting my approach based on what the student was comfortable with. My teaching style is friendly, patient and flexible. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorising formulas, so they know when and how to apply what they learn. For problem-solving subjects like Mathematics, I am comfortable showing multiple valid methods and guiding students to find an approach that works best for them. I aim to create a supportive and approachable learning environment, similar to a big-brother mentor, where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I believe this helps build both confidence and stronger fundamentals over time.

These experiences affirms that my ability to listen, to encourage and show consistent support can be a powerful force in helping others thrive. Hence, I aim to continue tutoring and helping students. I always plan my lessons to be student-centred and structured to fit my student's learning abilities. I am very open to student's concerns and do my best in ensuring what I teach gets across clearly.
