1 year of teaching experience in MOE school, as a trainee teacher, teaching POA. 5 years of tutoring experience in Emath (O & N level) and POA. I have helped students to improve their grade from C to A. Based on my current students, his math grade improved from C to A in 6 months and he has been getting A since Secondary 2 term 1 to term 3 exam, while for POA N level, I have pushed the student from a D to B3. I believe in helping students to understand the syllabus and provide more explanation while practicing questions rather than memorizing.

I have been teaching and tutoring for past 20 years, in India first and in Japan, China and Singapore in subsequent years. I am fascinated by different languages and hence I have been learning and teaching English, Hindi, Spanish, Marathi, Japanese and Chinese from basic to higher intermediate level. My last ten years, I had been a teacher in an international school in Singapore. I am more comfortable with younger kids from as young as 3 years old. However, I have also worked with middle school students and enjoyed academic challenges. I find tutoring most rewarding and fulfilling because I can connect well on one-on-one and identify my students exact needs. As a science graduate, I have been also teaching all sciences till grade 6-7. In addition, I am also a trained Yoga teacher. I firmly believe in all-rounded development as an important part of learning and growing. I speak good Japanese since I have lived in Kobe for six years and passed all JLPT exams. Following Japan I also lived in China for seven years and hence speak fluent Chinese.
