During my Secondary 4 year, I tutored my Vietnamese hostel mates in O Level English, and their grades improved from a C5/C6 average to a B3 at O Levels. Subsequently, I tutored on a pro bono basis in my JC1 year, while volunteering with Marine Parade CC. I tutored primary school students in all school subjects and helped them with their homework. After A levels, I worked full-time as a tutor at a tuition center and taught mostly primary school and secondary school students in English, Malay and Maths. My primary school students saw improvement in their grades (from a C to a B) in both English and Malay, while the secondary school students saw a similar improvement in Maths.

I’m currently tutoring a student this year for sec 4NT math and science as well. I’ve also taught a P2 student tamil in 2017 for a year. Especially for math and Tamil, I’ve topped the cohort in secondary 1 and hence will be able to guide the student well. I’m also helping my sister who’s in secondary school currently and hence am well informed of the current syllabus.
