I was teaching at Tanjong Katong Secondary school for 5 years and left at end of 2022. I teach lower sec mathematics, lower sec science and biology for Upper Secondary levels. I have taught IB tuition before, helping a student improve from fail to 6 points for her Biology grade. I have published a number of scientific papers on myrmecology and can help with research skills writing and mentoring as well.

I have a small, informal experience in tutoring as I have done peer tutoring in H2 Math during JC. In my peer tutoring group of 3, all of us attained an A grade for H2 Math, with one of my friends improving from a C at the start of the year to an A at the A Levels.

Hello! I am an 'A' level graduate that will be matriculating into the National University of Singapore (NUS) this coming August. I am intending to teach tuition in order to fund my university's tuition fee. I am currently teaching primary school-level English and Mathematics. I am confident in giving lessons on Mathematics and Science at a primary-secondary school level. I have achieved distinction in both H2 Mathematics and H2 Chemistry in A Levels. I adopt a very methodological teaching style and prefers open communication with parents and student. An example of a lesson structure would be: 1. Finding out the weakness of the student. 2. Prepare source materials to help tackle the weakness of the student. 3. Reinforce knowledge by doing practices and providing explanations afterward. 4. Review the progress of lessons every two weeks with the student and parents to facilitate the learning process. As I will be depending on tuition service as my main source of income throughout my university time, I am open to extending my service for many years and will commit to at least one academic semester.

I just completed my Alevels and waiting for results to be out, currently i have only tutored my cousin who is in the lower primary standard. I am a reliable person and take full ownership when i am in-charge of tutoring the student. Trust me, i am a responsible person and will always have a schedule suited to each student's need. I believe that every student has the potential to progress and get the desired grade as long as he or she puts in the effort to take the minimum baby steps.
