I have just graduated from Hwa Chong Institution and finished my A' Levels examination this year (2020) and have no professional experience in tutoring. However, I have been able to help my friends with H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology as we prepared for the A' Levels Examination. While, I am not an experienced tutor, I believe that with the experience I have from the past year studying for the exam, it has allowed me to pick out important ideas to note, so as to ace the examinations. Moreover, I come up with interesting ways to look at the topic I'm learning which has also helped my friends understand them better. I believe I would be valuable in teaching not only the content required for Chemistry and Biology, but also the exam tactics and strategies that can help students score much higher for exams. In terms of grades, I have gotten A for both H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology for the Prelims examination. In addition to that, I scored a distinction for H3 Biology. From the past 2 years in JC, I have understood a lot about the way the examinations work and I hope you would trust me to improve on your grades.

I am an experienced former teacher with MOE where my lessons focus is on academic mastery (knowledge acquisition, grade improvement, exam skills & answering techniques). Having worked together with many students of varying abilities, I am able to engage well with students and get them interested in learning Science. Have had remarkable results in the past with students who managed to score A/A* for their PSLE. I have also coached many students, typical and with special needs (Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD) who were failing English and Science to As after a few months of tuition.

I am a native Chinese ,immigrated to Australia in 2004 , then relocated to Singapore with my family in 2013 till now . I was a Financial controller in an international corporation from 2014 to 2018, but shifted to full time math tutor role since 2019 started in MPM math tuition Center. I am a fulltime private tutor now , most of my students in Bishan and AMK areas, studying in Townsville primary school and Catholic high primary school. One of my students in Primary two . He used to have competent and developing in Math in the first semester in Primary two . But now he has all accomplished in Mathematics. I am his math tutor, teaching him 1.5 hours a week , but I would help his Chinese when he has questions since I am able to speak and write Chinese fluently.

She is from Jurong West Primary School. She also got an MOE Edusave Good Progress Award.

I am tutoring P1, P4 students now. I was teaching assistant to teach so many primary students before. I teach kids to get high scores, tackle syllabus and achieve the targets from school. The syllabus focus on Write, Read, Listen and Speak. So, my teaching methods are 1 Use “Cheng Yu” in composition. 2 “Ping Yin” start from basic correctly. 3. Comprehension, find keywords and tackle questions in short times. 4 Build up Chinese common words , around 4000. I am a Master of Art( Major in Chinese Literature, Language and Culture). I have Certificate of Proficiency Putonghua. I get Grade A in Chinese History of A-Level. Grad B in Chinese Language and Culture (Cultural Issues and Reading Programme) of AS Level. *Candidates who pass the test are given a Certificate of Putonghua Proficiency. The Putonghua Proficiency Test or Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) is an official test of spoken fluency in Standard Chinese (Mandarin) intended for native speakers of Chinese languages. The test was developed in October 1994 by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Beijing Language and Culture University and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television. Specified standards of achievement in the test are required for many jobs in broadcasting, education and government.
