I have been teaching from 2004 in home tuition and relief teaching in Hwa Chong. I did 2 stints of relief teaching in my alma mater in HCI in 2010 and 2011 for a couple of months each. For home tuition, i teach mostly A math and E math, but I do teach chemistry and physics at times. My students come from various kind of schools, from the average neighbourhood schools, to students in IP programme from HCI, even normal tech students. My 1st express student A math went from fail to B3, my normal acad student A math went from C6 to A2 for O level. My IP students were getting As for the promotion exams to J1. My last normal tech student went from F to a C for his math. My current student just finished his O levels. Taught students from different academic background, from Normal Acad to IP. Best improvement of grades is from F9 to B3 for A math in 1.5 years, best achievement for normal acad student is A2 for A math. Taught Hwa Chong IP students and were generally pleased with my methods.

I am specialised in teaching Chinese language, both primary and secondary levels. I taught in ahmad Ibrahim secondary school, Anderson secondary school, guang yang secondary school etc. I have my own teaching materials, all new and designed to suit the needs of the students. 2021 my p6 psle students score AL2, AL3 and secondary 4 students score A in their preliminary exams and gce n o levels exams. 2022 my p6 psle students score AL2, AL3. My secondary students score A in their preliminary exams and gce n o levels, HCL exams. 1 of my p6 boy who was always failed in school Chinese exams, score AL5 during the psle in 2022. My secondary 1 express girl who is having online Chinese lessons with me scored A2, my secondary 1 na girl also having online lessons got A2 during their year end Chinese exams 2023. Secondary 4 hcl the girl also gets A2, sitting for HCL on 7/11/23. No problem to have online Chinese lessons. Good, safe, effective and interactive. My teaching materials are new format.

Although I do teach Chinese, Higher Chinese and Math, I specialise in teaching English and the majority of my students are for Primary/Secondary English. My students typically maintain their good grades if they are already faring well or improve an average of 1-3 grades. I believe in differentiating instruction for each individual student according to his/her needs, so that we can work on addressing the student's weaknesses to maximise his potential.
