I have no experience in tutoring. The only experience I have is during my student days where some of my friends often approach me to teach them. I will focus on ensuring the student's understanding based on the syllabus of the subject that they are taking. This helps ensure a stronger memory of what they need to know. For areas where rote memorisation is needed and memory based off understanding is impossible, I'll teach them how to efficiently memorize. They'll also have to learn how to understand question requirements to prepare the appropriate answer. To achieve the above, I'll encourage critical thinking by prompting them to think by themselves. This means I'll supervise their thought process while not spoonfeeding them too much. Ultimately, I aim to teach them how to learn so they can be independent.

Have given A Level H2 Physics tuition to a JC girl. Her results improved from E in the JC2 mid-year examinations to A during her A Levels. I will break down difficult concepts into simpler and more relatable terms, because it is crucial for concepts to first be understood before answering the question. I will cover the syllabus by chapter, first going through the important concepts then providing questions which ranges in difficulty. Nearing the examinations, I will tailor questions to address the weaknesses of the student. In TJC, I was a consistent top scorer in H2 Physics and H2 Mathematics. During JC2, I participated in the Physics Olympiad, and topped the cohort for the H2 Physics Prelim examinations. Thereafter I was offered a scholarship with NTU's Physics and Math Double Major Programme and NUS Engineering Science Programme, as well as a spot in NUS' Computer Engineering Programme.
