I will also focus on heuristics solving skills (for Math) as it is essential to have a strong foundation and mindmapping/notetaking skills (for Science) as different students have different ways of absorbing content (esp for content heavy subjects like Science) Currently have 10 p4-p6 math and science students, also have 2 years of experience teaching primary math and science at a tuition centre and assisted teachers at Nan Chiau Primary. Results: My geography students have improved in their answering techniques (graphs, figures, photos, essays) and they have also learnt how to take notes effectively and research on case studies for essay use. My math students have improved in their section c (word problems), eg. they know what the question is asking for, they know what model to draw and how to draw the model etc. My science students have improved in their critical thinking and answering techniques. They are also able to draw up mindmaps for their revision.

At the age of 18, I have done the necessary research and practice as a part of my own due diligence to have the capability to properly mentor children in the Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus. I have guided children in their school assignments and cleared the doubts they had. Moreover, I was also trained and tested by the director herself of a tuition center to be thorough in my knowledge of the IB syllabus. I was taught various skills to effectively educate the students on mathematics and problem solving. I have avidly practiced the notion of "teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime" in my classes. Currently, I am a full time student care teacher for almost 2 years now. I was trained and skilled to handle a fairly big group of class. Coached to enhance classroom productivity and created favourable learning environment for the students. I guide them with their school work if there are issues. I also constructively prepare monthly engaging lesson plans. Additionally, I observe children to proactively identify issues with emotional and physical development and work with parents and supervisors to address concerns.
