Most of my tutoring experience comes from volunteering jobs. In Singapore, I have taught the prepared topics of the session to 4-20 kids between K2 to P2 levels for an hour. In Myanmar, I have helped with my brother and friends with their studies or specific exams and their overall grades went up from B to A.

I am a recent graduate of Hwa Chong Institution and have participated in the Singapore Physics Olympiad and Singapore Physics League, winning gold awards for both. I was also invited to the Singapore national training team for physics olympiad (24 students). I also took MOE H3 physics and was in the 80-100th percentile in HCI for all internal examinations, for both H2 and H3. I was also exempted from the Sec 3 End-of-Year examinations for Physics and Geography due to outstanding performance throughout the year. In Sec 4 I was offered Higher Physics, a special paper for high-achieving students. I have scored high A1s overall for Physics, E-Math and A-Math in both Sec 3 and 4. I also obtained 4 A* for my PSLE with an aggregate score of 272, with a Merit for Higher Chinese. I have experience tutoring my juniors online in physics olympiad as well as classmates, from when I was in Sec 3 to JC2. I am looking to offer tutoring services to any students who are interested in learning H2/H3 physics from the ground up at a deep level, where I explain all the concepts and derive the equations from first principles, drawing analogies to what you are already familiar with. With this solid foundation we will then solve specially curated problems which are challenging and will stretch you and improve your problem-solving skills. I will guide the students initially and show them tricks they can apply to arrive at the solution, and also most valuble, the thinking process behind arriving at the solution. I will also provide detailed summary notes and show you how everything in physics really reduces to very few fundamental laws. I believe this is the best way to learn and tackle challenging physics problems as once the concept is clear in your head, you will not have any trouble applying the formulae like many other students, because they were not taught from first principles.

My field of expertise lies in teaching chemistry and biology at the IB (HL/SL), IP and also GCSE levels. I’ve been tutoring Chinese and Mathematics to tutees from kindergarten to Secondary since 2018. For Chinese (O-level) my tutees are mainly from Kranji secondary, their initial result was C6 and their final results range from B3-A2*. For Chinese (N-level) my tutee(Indian) is from CHIJ (Katong), her initial result was U and her final result was A. Taught K2 Chinese to Secondary 4 Express and NA Chinese within 2019 to 2021. Interactive lessons are conducted with the use of videos (oral and Kindergarten Chinese), reading skills, answering techniques and composition writing. Currently (2023) teaching P1 HCL from CHIJ and P3 HCL from PeiHua.
