I have experience in teaching students at kindergarten and primary level. I graduated from SJI IB. I took Biology, Chemistry and Economics as my HL subjects. I’m currently studying in NUS Medicine. I’ve been tutoring for about 3.5 years now — I’ve had 5 students, one Primary 6 student and 4 IB students. My most recent student was a Y5 student from SJI, for both HL Chemistry and HL Biology. She was initially having trouble passing her term tests and mid years but got a 6 for EOY examinations. I also had a student I tutored from Y5 to Y6 in HL Economics, he improved from a 5 to a 7 for the IB exam. I have also tutored 2 year 1 IB students in HL Chemistry and Economics, guiding them through their syllabus and preparation for tests, improving from grade 5 to 6s and 7s in their end of year examinations. I also assisted one of them in their Chemistry IAs, having done an Extended Essay in Chemistry myself, guiding him through the planning and methodology.
