Hi, I have about 5 years of experience teaching mainly mathematics and science for primary level and lower secondary level. My teaching style is to understand how the student learns and adapt so that the child grasps the concept. Moreover, I am very patient with young kids. My recent achievement would be with this primary 4 kid. He was transferred from an international school to a government school. His parents were worried as he was struggling in school. Within 1 year, he achieved top of class for mathematics and A for science. Moreover, I was also nominated as a peer tutor during my time in University as I scored A for uni maths. Hence, I taught a group of 8 students and 70% scored A for their final grade.

Over the past 4 years since the end of A-Levels, I had tutored near to 10 secondary students in subjects including E-Math, Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry and Combined Science (Phy/Chem and Bio/Chem). Students do see an improvement in grades of at least 1 to 2 grades by their second semester. A student of 2 years managed to score A2 for her O-Levels after 1.5 years of tuition in E-Math and a semester of weekly bootcamp for Combined Science (Phy/Chem), where her E-Math saw a significant increase in grade from C6 at the start of the tuition. Additionally, I had helped to teach my cousin's children (currently 4 and 7) in their languages and mathematics for the past few years.

Graduated from NUS, Major in Math. 14 years of teaching Math from Primary to JC level. Students have seen tremendous improvement within a year. I taught at Teck Whye Sec for about 1-2 years as a contract teacher. I was given a full load with form class and CCA, not shadowing or relief teaching.
