I have been teaching Primary school students for the past 7 years. I also taught in Mighty thinkers from 2013 to 2016 and then convert to private tutor. Science/Greenridge PS, 60+ to 90+, Math/concord PS, learning support class to 55(End year exam). English/Choa chu Kang PS, AL7 to AL5. As a 1-to-1 tutor, I believe that the lesson conducted should be cater to that particular student. Tutor should motivate the students and work along with the students. We should look into their individual's strength and weakness and help them to overcome hurdles and achieve excellence in their work.

I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I have taught in Woodgrove Secondary, Chung Cheng High(Yishun), Peicai secondary school. I have also taught 10 students - O level Math and English where my students' grades improved from C5 to A2. I focus my lessons on exam strategies and skills to ace the papers. I also align my teaching with the school's teaching so that my students can follow and improve their understanding easily. I am patient with my students and stretch them to achieve their potential. I also plan milestones for students so that we can track our progress accordingly. I have taught 6 students for PSLE English, Maths and Science where their grades improved from a pass to A, and they got into Express.

I am a final-year undergraduate studying Computer Science at NTU. My educational qualifications include IGCSE (O level equivalent) where I secured A* (the highest grade) in maths, additional maths, and sciences. For my post-secondary education, I attained the IB Diploma (A level equivalent) where I excelled in Maths, Physics, and Economics. As for my tutoring experience, I was working part-time at Tutopiya for 1 year where I coached a secondary 2 student in IGCSE (O level equivalent) physics, and a secondary 3 student in IGCSE coordinated sciences. I usually teach with presentations and my tablet to illustrate and solve problems with the tutee in real-time. I make sure that the tutee is grasping the knowledge I am sharing with them by conducting short pop quizzes throughout the lesson. I am also very relaxed and friendly so I try to make the lesson as fun and engaging as possible for my tutees, as I was in their position not many years ago.

Also obtained A* for math in PSLE Tutored sec 2 NA boy for math. Improved from barely passing to consistent B3 almost hitting As. Had other ad hoc students here and there that employer inserted into my classes all showed varying levels of improvement

When i was studying in university, i work as part time tutor. I taught for four years to upper primary school student. Most of my student approached me when they left a few months before PSLE. After giving tuition, all my student score from F9 to B3. Currently i am in accounting field over 8 years, there are some of my colleague are struggle with accounting double entry. Maybe i started in learning accounting during secondary, i dont mind teaching students are struggling with accounting. I believe to be a good tutor not based on their qualification. Patient and able to understand the student's issue and help them to solve.
