I have almost 30 years of teaching secondary math in both Govt and IP schools. I have been Subject Head/Senior Teacher/HOD Math in the IP a school I served in for 22 years. I started giving math tuition since I was 19 and even tutored a JC 1 boy only two years younger than me. I am known for my very clear teaching and the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand. I believe in teaching and learning deeply, understanding the why and not just the how to do. I am a passionate teacher who decided to quit the school system in June 2023.

I have done relief teaching for a year in MOE schools. I was required to teach a Primary 1 English and Maths for a term as the teacher was on hospitalisation leave. There were many responsibilities. I had to teach a class of 30 students and was given alot of assignments to mark. So, I was extremely familiar with the MOE syllabus. My students could understand my teaching. From this teaching experience, I could better craft effective lesson plans for my students.
