I have been teaching private tuition for almost 1 year and recently am teaching full time tuition at a centre. I teach mainly math from primary school to sec 4. All of my students showed improvements from their WA2 - WA3 of at least 1 grade (from D7-C6, B3-A2). I do not rush through the syllabus and only move on once the student fully understands the concept and methods used. I also would find the root cause of the problem rather than just tackle surface level issues such as if the student doesn't have a good basic of algebra (like expansion and factorisation) I would spend some time to brush up on this techniques per lesson before moving on to the main lesson. I do not spoon feed my students and would led them to finding the answers themselves and after a while they would not leave any blank on any questions and at least atempt it getting some method marks in tests.

About Me: I'm an undergraduate student at Nanyang Technological University, specializing in Geology within Environmental Science. Despite my science background, I have a strong foundation in mathematics and biology, backed by my academic achievements. I've interned as a project engineer in a water treatment firm, which has enriched my practical knowledge. Additionally, my proficiency in geography, nurtured through my environmental science and geology studies, makes me confident in teaching this subject. I'm also fluent in Chinese, having excelled in Higher Chinese and Chinese at O levels. Teaching Experience: Over the past six months, I've tutored 2-3 secondary students and primary kids in Chinese, resulting in significant grade improvements, some even jumping from D7 to B4/B3. I've also tutored biology and geography for half a year, helping 2-3 students improve their grades by three or more levels. During a 4-month internship at Eco Fieldtrip, an education company focusing on environmental sustainability, geology, geography, and biology, I gained valuable hands-on teaching skills. I have 2 graduate certificate from sutd and NTU. 2 years home tuition experience and also 1 year of tutoring at Salvation Army Gracehaven as a volunteer. I have taught E- Maths, Combined Science, Pure physics for secondary and JC students and all subjects English, Chinese, Maths, Science for primary students.
