I am also in-tune with the latest PSLE syllabus and exam questions as I have students from many schools. My PSLE students all scored between AL1-AL3.

I have one year of experience teaching Primary 1 and 3 Mathematics. I started off in December 2021 on a part-time basis when I was still a university student. Despite holding a full-time job in a bank as an analyst, I'm very devoted and committed to students outside of lesson time so that they do not have to wait till the next lesson to seek help. Both my students have been slightly weaker in their math foundation since young. However, after one year of tutoring them through building up their foundation, their grades have improved significantly from Grade 6 to Grade 4.

I have been teaching Upper Secondary tuition for the past 2 years at a Centre in Bishan & over my span of teaching, managed to form close bonds with my students and push them to their goals (A1). My love for teaching stems from my desire to push my students to do the best they can and to teach them that science is not about knowledge but learning how life works. My students don't know me as their teacher but as an older brother that they can depend on, because I strongly stand by my belief that forming a real bond with my students is of the utmost importance. I I believe that learning has to be fun and that shows in my teaching as I love to tell my students real-world facts related to the topics that I cover and to also constantly scratch their mind with riddles.

I am 27 years old this year. Currently, I am a tax accountant / analyst in a property developer company and am overseeing their tax-related issues. Prior to my current job, I was in PwC (PriceWaterHouseCoopers) as a tax associate. I graduated with a bacherlor degree specialising in accounting and finance. I have some teaching experience spanning various age groups and subjects. With over 2 of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students ranging from elementary school to secondary school. My teaching methods are highly adaptable, tailored to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I believe in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their own education. I emphasize the importance of critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills to empower my students for success not only in exams but also in their future endeavors. I have attained a score of 267 for PSLE, scoring full As for all subjects and Distinction for Higher Chinese. This equates to a perfect score of AL 4 under the current scoring system. My bilingualism allows me to translate between English and Mandarin easily. I enrolled in Hwa Chong Institution under the Integrated Programme (IP), now a GCE A Level Graduate, matriculating into the National University of Singapore(NUS) in 2025.  I have a flair for teaching the subject of English, in which I have a strong foundation. I help students in components such as composition, comprehension and oral, whilst introducing a spectrum of vocabulary to them. With an A grade in GCE A Level English Literature, I will also share useful phrasing and writing tips. I have 3 years of experience in 1-1 home teaching, in which I tutored students from top prestigious schools like Hwa Chong Institution and Nanyang Girls High School. I am also patient in my explanations, and should the student not understand, I restructure or rephrase concepts so they are able to view them from a different perspective. This allows students who tend to be rigid in their thinking approach problems in a more flexible manner. With that, I am confident that I can bring your child to greater heights and achieve good improvements in their grades.
