I have one year of teaching experience in academic thesis writing from when I was in the United States. I was able to help elevate the writing skills of many college peers, resulting in high evaluations from the faculty. I graduated with a degree in International Relations/Politics, meaning that alongside excellent reading is a robust research skill required for government research. I am currently a part-time environmental policy analyst and can resonate with modern topics that many students are passionate about. With a strong background in primary-level Mathematics, Chinese, and English, I bring extensive experience from teaching in a Tuition Centre. My bilingual fluency in English and Chinese allows me to effectively bridge language gaps, especially for students new to Singapore's education system. Taught 3 P3 Chinese students and 1 P2 Chinese student in 2023, strengthening their language proficiency, and have an average one grade improvement within a year.
