I'm currently a Special Needs Officer with MOE schools (6 years). I have experience with both Primary and Secondary School Students. I can teach students with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia as I understand them well and able to teach them in a way they are able to understand better. I've helped a Sec 2 boy with Autism from failing in Math and disliking Math to passing and liking Math. I am now teaching in Serangoon Garden Sec school and was also teaching in Primary school, specifically handling special needs children. Hi i am a English Teacher. Teaching students from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Previously i had 35 students attending in my home tuition classes. All of my students achieve very good grades which are always 85 and above in their English subject. And the PSLE, Primary 6 students always get a Distinction for their English. I am currently a full time professional in the financial industry handling bioscience investment funds. I am a trained analytical chemist with a PhD in Chemistry awarded by Nanyang Technological University in 2011. I have worked as a post-doctoral and scientists for 6 years at our Agency for Research and Technology (A*STAR). I have mentored students for their final year projects during my 3 years’ PhD candidature as well as during my post-doctoral experiences. As a scientist, I have spearheaded several key research projects in the areas of medicinal plants, cancer and radiochemistry applications to diagnostic drugs. I am interested to transfer my chemistry knowledge to our next generations through tutoring students. I have published many international peer reviewed scientific papers and awarded the Dean Awards for my research. I have aimed to equip my students to be competence in both scientific knowledge and life skills to prepare them to take on higher levels of learnings and career developments.
