I am an NUS Business Dean Scholarship recipient - awarded to only 10 students from NUS Business in each cohort. I have been teaching students of all ages for over 8 years. Been teaching English same time as Maths. I adopt a patient and fun teaching style and ensure all my students enjoy learning. I am a trained teacher with SINDA and have been teaching there since 2018. I am flexible and adopt a very fun approach to my teaching. I can guarantee students will love my teaching style, patience and knowledge. I am able to teach groups of students as well as 1 on 1 classes both physically and online. My past students have excelled in the subjects I have taught them and have gone on to pursue law and medicine even. My dedication and passion to teaching is unwavering. Currently teaching English at SINDA at Bendemeer Secondary School for 6 years. I am also tutoring GP and H2 Maths. EJC, TMJC. For J1 promos got 2nd upper quartile. I have taught over 150 students over 8 years and am always their favourite tutor. 2023 O Levels - Students scored A1 in A and E math. 2024 O Levels - Students scored A2 in A and E Math. Every year i take about 5 Olevel students. Majority get between B3 - A2. Last year had notable improvements as the students were really weak. They went from E in Sec 3 EOY to B3 for Prelims in Sec 4.

I have taught students in my previous school, and helped those who were struggling to improve their grades in mathematics and science quickly. Be it teaching tricky topics like algebra, calculus, or thermodynamics, I always seek to discover common misconceptions that students, before explain to them the concepts and answers in a way that is intuitive. My teaching experiences have all been voluntary thus far, but it has given me much experiences on how to explain the subjects clearly. NUS High is a school that specialises in mathematics and sciences, and through the years of rigorous studies, I have picked up the nooks and crannies of the difficult problems that examiners can throw at you, and I have learnt how to teach students to solve them by themselves. I believe in helping the students achieve confidence in their own problem solving skills instead of blindly memorising equations because that is true learning and it obtains results. For new topics, I will go through them with you prior to your school lectures, such that you will have an easy time in school. We will then go through practice papers that cover all the different types of question they can test you, and we will do so efficiently. I will provide the resources for you to learn and practice. Most importantly, I will seek to clarify any questions you have on the spot - and if I am not 100% certain about something, I will do my research and get back to you before the next lesson. I am currently enrolled in NUS College of Humanities and Science with a merit scholarship, matriculating in 2025. Below are my results back in high school for my majors in Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry, as well as my honours in Physics. The grading system is continuous from year 3 (sec 3 equivalent) to year 6 (J2 equivalent), which meant my results are consistent across all depths of the subjects.
