I am currently an undergraduate of NTU Mathematical Science, with a Second Major in Data Analytics. I have a strong passion and background for the subject, and have participated in various Math Olympiad competitions in the past, even winning awards in a couple. As for my teaching experience, I have taught 4 students over the past 3 years, ranging from P3 to JC1 level. I am patient and know how to adjust my teaching methods based on the student's learning ability and knowledge on the subject. I have graduated from Cedar Girls’ Secondary School and Victoria Junior College, with a GPA of 3.5 and a RP of 85 respectively. I scored a 250 for PSLE, with an A* in both Maths and English. I have approximately one and a half years of experience tutoring Mathematics and Science for students from Primary 4 to Secondary 2. During this time, I supported a Secondary 2 student in improving her Mathematics grade from a C6 to an A2 in about six months. Additionally, I helped a Primary 4 student raise their Science grade from a failing mark to a B4 over the course of a year. My approach is tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. Materials used during lessons will be decided after understanding the student’s learning preferences and reviewing the materials provided by their school, to ensure alignment with their curriculum and optimal support.

Hi! I’m Raven, a high-achieving graduate with a strong passion for math, science, English and helping others learn. I bring both academic excellence and real-world application to my tutoring. I come from a strong academic background in Biological and Life Sciences, with a Diploma with Merit in Biomedical Sciences from Singapore Polytechnic, and Bachelor’s of Science in Life Sciences (Hons) and a minor in Public Health from NUS, I’ve worked in various healthcare and research settings across Singapore including Health sciences authority (HSA), National parks board (NParks), and National university of Polyclinics. I was a senior Chinese teacher and I had worked in government schools in China for more than 20 years.After moving to Singapore, I have been engaged in a full time Chinese tutor for six years. I am familiar with the Singapore examination syllabus and has helped many students and adults effectively improve their Chinese level. I mainly teach Chinese, and sometimes I also teach mathematics to Chinese native speakers. Generally, students who come to tutoring fail in Chinese, but after three or four months of tutoring, they can pass or get a B.. There are also some children with a good foundation who can get a B and seek better results. Through training, you can reach a better level and maintain stability within about half a year.
