I’m Matriculating into NUS Business Analytics course this August, I currently have 2 years of tutoring experience. I have only done home tutoring thus far, with a total of 5 students. 2 from last year, and 2 this year (current). They are from JPJC (2), CJC (1), TMJC (1), with both my students from Last year starting out at S grades and ending the year with A and B respectively. While studying at VJC, I volunteered to teach under privileged students as part of my CCA. While doing so, I taught a group of 4 students ranging from sec 3-4 who were all very different from each other. After graduating from VJ, I have been tutoring JC students for physics. I always had a strong liking for physics during my time in JC and always scored an A. I have a strong level of content mastery which I wish to inculcate in my students as well.

I have two years of teaching experienced combined. I was previously teaching at a tuition centre before covid-19 and the subjects taught was primary school English, Math, and Science, and secondary Elementary Math. I also taught private elementary math tuition 1-1 to a student diagnosed with dyslexia from Secondary 2 to 3. There were improvements in his grades and parent wanted to re-engaged for continued tuition then. However, due to other commitments I was unable to do so in 2022. Currently tutoring a Primary 4 student English for about 3 months, diagnosed with Dyslexia. During recent PTM, school feedback noted improvements in student's reading and writing. Currently tutoring primary 3-5 students in both Math and English. There has been noted slight improvements in mathematics scores after starting to tutor them in August 2025.

I have 15 years of tuition teaching experience. Since 2011, I have been concurrently conducting tuition classes at Resident Network centres on weekdays. Many of my former students have achieved good academic results. While I do not formally track their scores, feedback on their performance has been shared verbally by students and parents. I am patient and kind to my students and diligent in my teaching. I am a Montessori-trained teacher. I teach phonics and reading to preschool students, as well as grammar and vocabulary. I also use the Montessori operational method to teach mathematics. I have one year of teaching experience for primary school kids. I was tutoring two primary kids and supervising them for their homework for all subjects, mainly Chinese, English and Math.
