I have taught in Temasek Primary and Maha Bodhi Primary for lower and upper primary subjects. I focus my tutoring on English and Science. I have more than 20 years of tutoring experience. I am passionate about teaching and have taken additional courses to enhance the learning skills of my students. Every student has different learning capabilities which require various sets of teaching methods to cater to their needs. I am patient and understanding towards my students and try to instill their interest in the learning of their subjects so that they feel more confident in overcoming their difficulties faced in their studies. At least 80-90% of my students who used to fail in their subjects scored above passing average in their final exams. In my final year of psychology degree, I majored in child psychology. It helps me to relate and better communicate my teaching methods to my students. As a former teacher, we also take additional courses to enhance our teaching techniques.
