I have been tutoring 1 to 1 since I was an undergraduate, along the way when I was more experienced, I took up part time with Lynn Tuition Centre as well to teaching in their Buangkok Branch. Upon graduation, I went on to be a Student Care Teacher (Temporary) with Kidz Treehouse and eventually took up a permanent role with Le Ace Tuition as a Full Time Tutor. Upon moving to a new place, I converted into a Private Full Time Tutor. As of now, I’ve 2 P6 students who have followed me since the start of P5, 1 P1 and P3 sibling who started with me since November 2020, several Lower Secondary students as well.

Around 28 years of tutoring experience. Pri 1 to 6. Teaching Eng, Maths & Sci. Students from ACS, River Valley, Zhangde, CHIJ, Radin Mas, Henry Park, Pei Tong, Tao Nan, Maria Stella, Kheng Cheng, Naval Base, Princess Elizabeth, Raffles’ Girls & many others. Eg: Last year, I taught an autistic P6 student (Zhangde Pri) for 4 months before PSLE. She improved from around 10 marks to 80 marks for EMS in just 4 months. Her parents were very happy. Another P5 student (Maris Stella) from grade C to A* for EMS in 5 months’ time. I also have very good experience teaching autistic, ADHD & dyslexia students.

I am an experienced MOE primary school teacher and Head of Department for over 15 years. Flexible, understanding and attentive, I believe in working well with parents and students to bring out the best in each student. Taught in 3 schools. Queenstown Primary: 2005-2012, Bedok Green Primary: 2013-2015, Cantonment Primary: 2016-present I was also posted to MOE HQ working on curriculum and assessment (school based exam n PSLE): specifically for Math and Science. In my sessions, I create a friendly and warm learning environment so as to engage the child. Through the sessions, I am able to pick out misconceptions and address them quickly to maximize learning. I have a great track record in improving students' results over the years. My teaching cert can be shown to parents upon request. Materials for tuition will be combination of what parents have/what I have/what I recommend based on child's profile.
