I'm a patient tutor who places great emphasis on igniting my students passion in the subject. I believe not just in building understanding of the subject but instilling time management skills and a good work rest cycle to maximise learning and preparation for exams. A-side from laying a firm groundwork for my pupils, I would ensure they have a good grasp of analysing questions such that they are masters at exam requirements (which many students face trouble doing) Some Notable achievements include always scoring in the top 10 percentile of HCI in H2 Chemistry and Biology. Teaching approach: My teaching approach is one that is heavily focussed on practice. Although people might think that GP and English are rather abstract subjects even though they are structured and predictable. For comprehension/Paper 2, I teach my students how to answer questions accurately with the correct keywords and precise paraphrasing. For essay/Paper 1, I teach my students how to spot commonly tested topics and relentlessly prepare for them so that during the exam, they would be able to answer any question that is related to that topic. Track records: I have 2 years of experience teaching O Level English and A Level GP with my previous students improving to score A in their O-Level and A-Level examinations even though they had been scoring C and below prior to me giving them tuition. Personally, I have excelled in English Language and General Paper in Hwa Chong Institution, who has never scored below top 10% in the cohort for all GP exams. My grades for GP in prelims and A-Levels are A* and A respectively. I also write articles and maintain a blog on international relations and politics. Some of my articles have been published on international websites. I am currently enrolled at SMU, studying Law from Q3 of 2021 onwards.
