I have one year of experience teaching Chinese for Primary 4 and Primary 5. After giving private tuition to a Primary 4 student, he managed to improve from a fail to a pass in Higher Chinese. I am Sarah, currently a Year 1 Pharmacy student in NUS. I have scored A1 for both GCE O Level EMath, Amath, and Chemistry. I have also scored A for GCE A Level H2 Math and H2 Chemistry. Since last year, I have started teaching O Level and Primary school Mathematics to my students. For upper secondary students, I usually brush up on their weaker topics during the weekly lessons by going through concepts in the textbook, and then we will try to solve questions in assessment books. As lesson time is quite short, my students usually text me if they have questions beforehand so I can solve them before lesson starts and I can go through it with them during lesson. I would also request my students to text me if they have questions that have to be urgently solved, and I will record an explanation for them as this can help to save time during lesson and ensure that they are consistent with their work. I will also give them some questions to complete every week as I believe that practice makes perfect.
