I have been teaching both Mathematics and Malay Language tuition for the past 15 years. Recently, I concentrate more on the Malay language as more students require tutoring and guidance in answering comprehension as well as essay writing techniques. On top of that, students have shown vast improvement in their Malay language. For the Secondary 4 students, at least 2 grade jump from C6 to B4, or B4 to A2. For PSLE, three of my students have scored AL1 and AL2 respectively.

I provided volunteer tuition in English and Mathematics for one year for P6-Sec 2 students, who saw overall improvements in the subjects as well as in their motivation to study. I have been tutoring for 4 years now, specialising in math and science from primary to junior college level students. I have started this year as a teaching assistant at NUS. Some of my students are awaiting their final results. Recently my N levels bio/chem student from Hai Sing Catholic school has seen a grade improvement from a fail to an A1 at N levels. She has just taken her O levels so we are waiting for the results. I have also taught a student from Catholic Junior College, and she has seen her grades improve from a fail to a B at A levels. I am interested in working with each student in a personalised way, with specially and personally curated notes and practice materials. I am also happy to accommodate any request(s) the student may have. Currently, I am tutoring secondary school and junior college level students. With my teaching, many of my students have seen a significant improvement in their grades and confidence in the subjects, many eventually obtaining distinctions in their examinations. With that being said, as a tutor, I am dedicated in providing 2 main services. Firstly, I will consistently provide beneficial learning resources for the students during lesson. I provide lessons physically, as well as virtually. Regardless, the student will have full access to all materials available. Secondly, I provide ‘off-hours’ help to students. This means that students can send in queries on schoolwork, extra work that they have done, or just general enquires outside of tuition hours. For this, I’ll be dedicated to reply promptly to assist the students. Therefore, I look forward to working with you.
