i have approximately 2 years of teaching experience. i tutor both chinese and geography. i’ve tutored 3 students in the past, K2 chinese, P1 and P3 chinese and currently taking 1 P3 chinese student. for the K2 student, she has improved significantly in terms of reading and writing. her parents was very happy but they had to move back to their home country to attend to family matters. the current P3 student that is under me has been improving as well. when i first took him, he could barely read and write but currently seeing good improvement. the P3 student is from St Hilda’s Primary School

Primary Math/Science — Students from Oasis Primary, CHIJ TPY, Xinmin Primary, Rosyth Primary, Waterway Primary Secondary Math/Science/English — Serangoon Gardens Sec, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian, Pei Hwa Sec, Bartley Sec Results based on students last year: * Prelims AL22 > PSLE AL14 (P6 2023) * ⁠P5 SA1 failed both Math & Science > P5 EOY Passed both, Math scored 60s/100 * ⁠I do have experience in teaching kids with slower learning disabilities/ADHD & ASD they started at P2 with me and was unable to do basic arithmetic. We are currently doing long multiplication & division now. For the above subjects, I did private with lower secondary students as well as upper primary students. The tuition centre one was mainly lower primary Math. What I did for the 1-to-1 tuition was to reinforce concepts, assess students' strengths and weaknesses so that I can better tailor the materials for them. For secondary science, I was assisting in a group tuition. The class had 6 sec 2 kids. 2 from Clementi town, 1 from commonwealth, 2 from nan hua & 1 from fairfield school. Some of them started in sec 1 mid year whereas some came only in sec 2. Their average was around B4 since some had C5 and some B3. Their EOY average was B3, highest scholar was A1 whereas most of them B3 and A2. For the above subjects, I did private with lower secondary students as well as upper primary students. Currently an undergrad in NTU (Business) I worked part-time as an assistant teacher under Boutique Education, teaching English supplementary classes at Canadian International School for children aged 9-10 years old. I previously tutored a Primary 6 girl in Mathematics. She feedback that she felt more confident and ready for her upcoming exams. I have 7 years of experience and am bilingual (English and Chinese). I have students from SJI and River Valley high taking higher chinese. And Saint Andrew’s and other neighbourhood school taking G3 and G2 chinese Taught and prepared 6 PSLE students this year and 7 PSLE students last year. I have also have 7 students from Chong fu, naval base and northland primary school. They are all doing well, all are scoring AL2 and above Most of them started with borderline pass or even failing, and by N/O Levels and Prelims, they were at least getting Bs. I was also working in a Training consultancy for Primary schools to hold motivation workshops and counselling of students to overcome difficulties in studies, thus you can trust my ability in teaching, and communication skills with children.

I enjoy working and interacting with children. I have tutored a diverse range of students from different ethnic backgrounds since 2013. My interest in tutoring students started in my university days, where I was a youth mentor at Pasir Ris Family Service Centre.
