Highest Qualification: Bachelor in Early Childhood School Attended: Monash University 3 years of tutoring experience, however more than 10 years of teaching preschoolers in a preschool. I taught English, Phonics and Math to different ages (ranging from 18 months to 6 years old) in my preschools. As a preschool educator, I've seen them progress from being unable to understand a single word to speaking in sentences and reading words, followed by sentences. I usually conduct lessons through hands-on activities as I believe children learn through hands-on. I usually conduct Phonics in an interactive way. I will start by teaching the children the sounds of each letter and its formation, and then move on to blending and segmenting words. I use Letterland book and cards as well as letters. With two years of teaching experience within tuition centres and volunteering with social service networks, my education philosophy surrounds having students explore within and outside their comfort zones. I believe in students giving students the space to explore their own mistakes, all whilst tinkering with new knowledge. Throughout my time within the tuition industry and my field of study, English writing has become a passion and specialisation of mine. Over 2 years, I've taught more than 30 students, with some classes maxing occupancy.
